Yes. Om Fertility is a fertility-specific private ultrasound clinic, and follicle scans and lining checks are among our most common monitoring visits.

Yes. We see pregnant clients from 5 weeks through 11 weeks of gestational age. 

We offer private sonograms at 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks, 8 weeks, 9 weeks, 10 weeks and 11 weeks — ideal if your regular provider isn't yet able to see you, or if you want additional reassurance during the early weeks.

A hysterosalpingogram or HSG is a radiology-based procedure where dye is infused into the uterus and fallopian tubes, and an X-ray tracks how the liquid flows through. It's used to check whether the fallopian tubes are open. Closed tubes mean natural conception isn't possible, which is important information for your IVF team.

We don’t perform HSG in-clinic, as it requires X-ray imaging. But if you’ve been referred for an HSG, we can liaise with your care team to confirm whether a suitable alternative can be used instead.

As a gentler, no X-ray alternative, we offer Exem Foam — which is also referred to as Hysterosalpingo-Contrast-Sonography (HyCoSy) or Hysterosalpingo-Foam Sonography (HyFoSy). It uses a high-contrast foam infused into the uterus to check tubal patency. It’s equally effective, typically more comfortable and much easier to schedule, resulting in shorter wait times. 

If you’ve been referred for an HSG, you may still be eligible for the Exem Foam alternative — we’ll coordinate with your doctor and handle all the details for you.

No, we’re not an IVF centre. IVF clinics provide services such as egg retrieval, embryo creation, genetic testing and embryo transfer, which require specialised lab facilities and larger medical teams.

As a private ultrasound clinic, Om Fertility focuses on the clinical care that supports your IVF journey. We provide monitoring, ultrasounds and procedures such as inseminations and tubal patency testing, working closely with your IVF clinic as an extension of your care team here in San Diego.

Yes. In addition to outside monitoring, Om Fertility offers Fertility Consultations and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) for clients who are earlier in their journey and looking for a provider to manage their care directly.

Our approach is to look at the full picture — medically, physically, emotionally, and financially — and help you understand your options. For some people, that may include IVF, and we can support you in preparing for and navigating that process. For others, lower-intervention treatments may be the right place to start.

Yes. We provide quantitative semen analysis to assess key fertility indicators, including sperm concentration, motility, and morphology (shape).

If you have a referral or order from your medical provider, we can book you in for sample collection and analysis.

If you do not yet have a referral, we recommend starting with a Fertility Consultation. This allows us to determine whether the test is appropriate for your individual circumstances and ensure you’re accessing the right pathway of care.

Our service is designed to be as discreet and accessible as possible. We offer flexible, private sample collection options, including at-home collection with scheduled drop-off, helping reduce the discomfort and logistical challenges often associated with clinic-based testing. This approach allows for a more comfortable, respectful experience while maintaining high clinical standards.

Yes. This is a specialist service we offer for egg donors who have undergone retrieval surgery and need to be accompanied and monitored for up to 24 hours afterwards.
